Insider activity, traced to the filing.
Every open-market move by directors, officers and major shareholders is disclosed to a regulator — and almost nobody reads it at scale. ITSM reads it for you: one normalized record per transaction across five markets, checked against the original document, and presented with the uncertainty it deserves.
Research and data platform. Not investment advice.
Counts as of September 2026. Live figures are published in the product's own data-quality dashboard.
Public by law, unread in practice.
Insider disclosures are public, auditable and strangely invisible. Two things stop them being useful. They arrive fragmented — five jurisdictions, a dozen formats, half-translated PDF portals. And most of them are noise. ITSM solves the first with one normalized, source-linked record per transaction. It addresses the second by measuring which patterns have actually carried information — and publishing the answer including when it is not distinguishable from chance.
Evidence first. Everything else is derived.
The evidence trail
Every row keeps its filing reference and opens the original regulatory document. Classification is recorded per row — discretionary open-market trades stay apart from plan-based and mandatory ones, because they are different objects and mixing them corrupts any analysis.
Event archetypes
Thirteen kinds of unusual behavior, each severity-graded and shown with its detection window and context: cluster buying and selling, sell cessations, position reversals, large CEO/CFO purchases, accumulation streaks and more. An archive, not a tip sheet.
Scores that show their work
Insiders carry a track-record figure derived strictly from realized outcomes — never opinion — and every score is shown with the sample it rests on. When the sample cannot support one, the field reads n/d. Missing is not zero, and we never blur the two.
Monitoring
Four live lenses over the same stream: sector flow radar, anomaly scanner, co-trading network and company timelines with every disclosed transaction laid over price. Descriptive by design — they map what happened.
Prepared extracts & API
Need the data in Excel or CSV, formatted for the desk? Tell us the shape — columns, markets, cadence — and we prepare the extract for you. Pipelines are served by a read-only, key-protected API with quotas and history depth agreed per desk.
Our own quality gates
The platform audits itself in the open: live data-quality gates, a human review queue for records that look wrong, and published coverage and freshness per source. If our data has a gap, you see it before you rely on it.

How we measure, and what we refuse
Six rules, applied on every page of the product and every line of this site.
- Not advice. We describe what was disclosed — who bought, when, at what price, after which events. We never tell you what to buy. ITSM is a research and data platform, full stop.
- No performance promises. When we measure whether a pattern has worked, we publish the interval and the sample alongside the figure — including when the honest answer is that it is not distinguishable from chance. No claim on this site or in our materials rests on a backtest we would not show you.
- Missing is not zero.Unavailable fields read n/d — distinct from "none", distinct from 0. Semantic precision is a feature: a blank that pretends to be a fact is how data products hurt their users.
- Uncertainty is part of the figure.Thin samples get wide intervals or no analysis at all. A number without its sample size is a number we do not publish.
- We publish our own gaps.Live quality gates per source, coverage and freshness accounting, and a human review queue where suspicious records wait instead of quietly entering your work.
- Built and not-built are both stated. The core is in production. The predictive research lab is under active development — and every view it touches is labeled as such inside the product. No roadmap sold as a feature.
Sourced from the regulators, not from resellers
Ingested from each jurisdiction's own filing systems and reconciled into one record per transaction. No third-party insider-data reseller sits in the chain.
| Market | Filing system | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| United States | SEC EDGAR — Forms 3 / 4 / 5 | Equities, ADRs, options-related disclosures |
| Italy | Consob — SDIR portals (1Info, eMarket) | FTSE-listed equities |
| Germany | BaFin — directors' dealings (MAR) | DAX / MDAX / SDAX equities |
| France | AMF — disclosure database | CAC and Euronext Paris equities |
| Spain | CNMV — directors' dealings | IBEX and BME equities |
Open-market discretionary transactions feed the analysis. Plan-based, mandatory and non-discretionary trades are classified separately and kept out of it. Price series come from established market data providers; where they are thin, the product says so.
